Specialists in Larch, Douglas, Ash, English oak and English Burr Oak

Larch
Larch are deciduous conifers in the genus Larix, of the family Pinaceae (subfamily Laricoideae).
Larch wood is valued for its tough, waterproof and durable qualities. Top quality knot-free timber is in great demand for building yachts and other small boats, for exterior cladding of buildings, and interior paneling. The timber is somewhat resistant to rot when in contact with the ground, and historically was used as posts and in fencing.

Douglas
The Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii)[3] is an evergreen conifer species in the pine family, Pinaceae.
Douglas fir timber is used for timber frame construction and timber trusses using traditional joinery, veneer, and flooring due to its strength, hardness and durability.

Ash
Fraxinus , commonly called ash
Ash is a hardwood tough and very strong but elastic, extensively used for making bows, tool handles, baseball bats, hurleys, and other uses demanding high strength and resilience.

Oak
Oak is a hardwood tree or shrub in the genus Quercus of the beech family.
Oak timber is a strong and hard wood with many uses, such as for furniture, floors, building frames, and veneers.
Ours is genuine English oak and is probably the finest available on the market. It comes in various grades of beauty and features stunning grain, medulla rays and knotting

Burr Oak
Quercus macrocarpa, the bur oak or burr oak
This is the holy grail of Oak for furniture making because of the stunning features of Paw prints, medulla rays and grain. We are saving this for our special projects but are willing to share if you want something extraordinary
